Changes due to preventative COVID-19 measures directed by the government include:
*Credit/debit card payments only
* Visitors must provide their contact details as required by disease detectives
*Visitors showing signs of being unwell may be refused entry. Please stay home if you are feeling unwell as per COVID-19 guidelines
https://www.health.gov.au/resources/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-identifying-the-symptoms
*A maximum of 50 visitors within the Museum, with maximum gallery numbers posted at each doorway
*Social distancing of 1.5m will be enforced within the galleries
*Please follow the queue and viewing markers, as well as the one way route signposted in some galleries
*As collection items cannot be disinfected in a ‘normal’ cleaning setting, for their longevity and the safety of everyone, visitors are to refrain from touching objects on display
*Though our theatrette and interactives are closed for now, video content such as the short version of ‘This Eden’ and other exhibition material will be available from our website from 5 June.
*Extra cleaning schedules have been introduced to protect our visitors, volunteers and staff
Thank you for observing the COVID-19 measures within the Museum which will help to keep us safe if we all follow them together
We look forward to seeing you soon!
