Cruising Forward reflects on the historical and continuing use of Eden’s port facilities at Snug Cove. This includes the latest breakwater wharf extension which was officially opened on 4 September 2019. The $44million extension can accommodate vessels up to 320 metres in length and provide safer and more efficient berthing of cruise ships and their passengers, as well as other large vessels.
Coinciding with Eden’s cruise ship season (September to April), Cruising Forward reveals the Museum’s mission to collect history as it unfolds.
