Cock’s Blacksmiths

During the late 19th century, Young & Plumb coach builders and Blacksmith Forge occupied this site. The business was taken over about the turn of the century by E. Berkery, Blacksmith & Farrier, followed by Fred Cock and son Viv Cock – Wheelwrights & Blacksmiths.

During the 1940’s some prices were 10/- for a billet hook and 27/6 for a chaindog.
